In daily life we rarely stop.
We eat on the go, respond to messages, move from task to task. This retreat offers something different. Eight days to slow down, reset your body and reconnect with your relationship to food. Through 5-days guided Buchinger fasting, gentle movement and time in nature, you create space for your body to regenerate and your mind to settle.
Along the way, we’ll share simple, practical teachings on fasting, Ayurveda and mindful eating so you leave not only reset, but with tools you can carry into everyday life.

Gentle yoga, breathwork, and meditation in the morning, followed by broths, juices, and Fasting & Ayurveda masterclasses. Afternoons are free for woodland walks, rest, and reflection. Evening check-ins and meditation.

Morning practice, breaking-fast meal, and closing circle

The Retreat Location
The retreat is held at Quinta da Tojeira, a historic quinta in the heart of the Douro Valley (~1 hour from Porto),
surrounded by eight hectares of private forest. Quinta da Tojeira commits itself to quality, sustainability, and a close connection with the land. It's a place designed for slowing down and resetting.

Deluxe Private Room

Our most private and spacious option, offering a calm retreat with beautiful mountain views and a generous private bathroom. Designed for deep rest and comfort, these suites give you plenty of space to slow down, reflect, and fully immerse yourself in your fasting journey.
Shared Deluxe Room

Bright and inviting rooms for two, located in the attic, with either a king-size bed or twin beds and shared bathrooms. Cozy yet spacious, they offer a warm, supportive atmosphere. Ideal if you enjoy a balance of personal space and gentle connection with others.

Booking & Payment
To reserve your spot, please complete the registration form, which includes a few questions about your health and medical background. This helps ensure that fasting is safe and suitable for you.
Once your form has been reviewed, you will receive the payment details. Payment can be made via PayPal or bank transfer. A 50% deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining balance is due 1st September 2026.
